The 2006 Barometer conference took place on 27 June at the Palazzo Delle Stelline. More than one hundred people attended this annual event, including journalists, car manufacturers and professionals specialised in the field of mobility.

For the occasion, the data of the survey conducted in collaboration with TNS Infratest were presented. The research concerned a sample of 400 Italian companies through telephone interviews with decision-makers of 170 very small enterprises, 170 SME/SMIs and 60 Large Corporate accounts.

The survey demonstrated that Operational Leasing is the most widely used financing practice in the world of large and medium-sized companies. Very small and small enterprises, on the contrary, are not very familiar with this practice (5% of small enterprises and 12% of very small enterprises). The year 2006 also confirmed the trend for companies to choose their own vehicles according to criteria regarding safety (20%), price (15%) and taxation (8%) criteria.

The conference ended in a buffet for all the participants.
