Second Barometer edition of the Corporate Vehicle Observatory in Switzerland On Tuesday, 30 May 2006, the results of the 2006 Barometer were presented in Zurich, Switzerland.
Due to the successful national launch of the CVO in 2005, this second edition brought together over 120 people from all the different automotive sectors in Switzerland. Customers, partners, prospects, competitors, suppliers and journalists alike were all able to discover the latest trends on the national and international markets and actively take part in a presentation using an interactive ballot set up especially for the conference. Beginning at 10.30am, the entire local team of Arval Switzerland took pleasure in welcoming the participants with refreshments. At 11, the results of the 2006 Barometer were presented to the public, with the following speakers: - Oliver Paul, Consultant of Finanzforschung, TNS Infratest GmbH - Stephan Beck, Managing Director of Arval (Switzerland) SA This year, we were pleased to welcome guest speakers for the event: - Daniel Burch, National Adviser of the Zoug canton - Roland Baumann, Head of Technical Training, Toyota Switzerland SA Mr. Baumann also took the time to explain how the Toyota hybrid vehicles operate so that the public could gain further knowledge on such new car technology. Following 90 minutes of presentation, the guests enjoyed their buffet lunch where they could discuss the results and exchange their impressions of the conference, quite positive indeed. As regards the French-speaking part of Switzerland, the Barometer results were presented at a press conference held in Geneva on 31 March 2006. The journalists showed a great deal of interest and overall press coverage once again proved that the CVO is an absolutely indispensable tool in providing information on the automotive sector in Switzerland. >Click here to see pictures...
